Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Thanksgiving Recipe INGREDIENTS


* 1 1/2 cups cubed whole wheat bread
* 3 3/4 cups cubed white bread
* 1 pound ground turkey sausage
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 3/4 cup chopped celery
* 2 1/2 teaspoons dried sage
* 1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary
* 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1 Golden Delicious apple, cored and chopped
* 3/4 cup dried cranberries
* 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
* 1 cooked turkey liver, finely chopped
* 3/4 cup turkey stock
* 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Thanksgiving Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F (175 degree C). Spread the white and whole wheat bread cubes in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes in the preheated oven, or until evenly toasted. Transfer toasted bread cubes to a large bowl.
2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage and onions over medium heat, stirring and breaking up the lumps until evenly browned. Add the celery, sage, rosemary, and thyme; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes to blend flavors.
3. Pour sausage mixture over bread in bowl. Mix in chopped apples, dried cranberries, parsley, and liver. Drizzle with turkey stock and melted butter, and mix lightly. Spoon into turkey to loosely fill...and the Thanksgiving recipe stuffing is ready to serve.....!

INGREDIENTS

* 1/4 cup white sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 3/4 cup butter
* 3 cups white sugar
* 3 eggs
* 6 very ripe bananas, mashed
* 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 3 teaspoons baking soda
* 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease four 7x3 inch loaf pans. In a small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup white sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Dust pans lightly with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and 3 cups sugar. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix in salt, baking soda and flour. Stir in nuts. Divide into prepared pans.
3. Bake for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Holiday Cranberry Relish ...a nice thanksgiving recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS

* 4 large naval oranges, peeled and cut into chunks
* 4 large apples, cored and cut into chunks
* 1 (12 ounce) package frozen cranberries
* 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored gelatin mix
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1 cup chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS

1. Place the oranges in the bowl of a food processor, and pulse until chopped, 2 or 3 pulses. Remove and place the chopped oranges into a large bowl. Chop the apples in the food processor for 2 or 3 pulses, and place in the bowl. Chop the cranberries in the food processor for 2 or 3 pulses, and place in the bowl with the oranges and apples.
2. Stir the gelatin mix, sugar, and chopped pecans into the chopped fruit, and mix well. Cover and refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours....and the Thanksgiving recipe of relish is ready to serve...nice one !

Cranberry Ice

Cranberry Ice ...a nice thanksgiving recipe to try ! Great !

INGREDIENTS

* 2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin powder
* 2 tablespoons cold water
* 1 pound fresh cranberries
* 2 cups water
* 2 cups white sugar
* 2 cups ginger ale
* 2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale, chilled

DIRECTIONS

1. Sprinkle the gelatin over 2 tablespoons cold water and set aside.
2. Combine the cranberries and 2 cups water in a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring to a boil and cook until cranberries burst. Remove from heat and stir in sugar until dissolved; mix the softened gelatin into the hot cranberry mixture. Pour the cranberries into a shallow freezer-proof container and chill until cold.
3. When cooled, mix in 2 cups ginger ale and place the mixture into the freezer. Freeze until slushy, about 4 hours. Stir twice during the freezing process to break up the ice crystals.
4. To serve, fill clear glasses 3/4 full with chilled ginger ale, and spoon some of the cranberry ice overtop. The thanksgiving recipe of cranberry is ready to serve immediately.
